An earthquake measuring 5.6 struck Saturday night the state of Oklahoma in central United States, causing no casualties or major damage according to authorities local.
The epicenter of the quake, occurred at 10:53 p.m. was located 71km northeast of Oklahoma City, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Cracks appeared on some buildings and paving of a highway, but no reports of damage.
The quake was felt hundreds of miles away. On 23 August, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8, whose epicenter was located in Virginia, had shaken the entire east coast of the United States, causing no casualties or major damage.
