Death of rapper Heavy D at the age of 44 years
The rapper Heavy D, is the hip hop of the late 80s died yesterday in Los Angeles after a respiratory discomfort.

As reported by the Associated Press, the rapper collapsed at the entrance of his apartment building in Los Angeles yesterday morning. AWARE but complaining of difficulty breathing, he was transferred to Cedars Sinai. Doctors have unfortunately not been able to be of great help, he died a few hours after admission. The cause of his death have so far not disclosed. Dwight Arrington Myers, whose real name was well known in working with Michael Jackson. It was he who had the party rapped on the song Jam released in 1991, a title which the clip pitted the King of Pop with basketball legend Michael Jordan. On October 8, Heavy D was also present at the scene of Michael Jackson tribute concert held in Cardiff.
In the mid-90, the rapper took the head of Upton Records label, producing his own records and those of artists like Mary J. Blige and Jodeci. While pursuing his own musical career - his last album (Love Opus) was released last September - Heavy D had also turned to acting. He has appeared in episodes of series like Boston Public, SVU and Bones.
More recently, he made an appearance in the Central Brain, a film with Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy to be released November 23 on French screens.
