A mysterious advertisement on the website of the legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath suggests that it could meet.
Page of the British group has recently been updated, displaying only the words "Black Sabbath 11.11.11.".
According to Rolling Stone magazine, the rockers will hold a press conference in Los Angeles on November 11 and speculation is rife about what will be announced. For many, the Group confirms its meeting with singer Ozzy Osbourne, the time for a tour. It told Billboard.com, about a month ago, a meeting of the original group was a "very, very strong possibility."
The group could also record a new album. Guitarist Tony Iommi said during an interview with VH1 Radio Network, he had recently written a lot of material that could be recorded by the group.
Rumors of meeting the original group were very strong in recent months. In August, the Birmingham Mail reported that the group was working on a new album, Iommi quote about it. He had, however, denied the news shortly after.
A legendary band
Formed in 1969, the group consisting of Osbourne, Iommi of, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward has recorded eight albums before the singer is fired because of his erratic behavior in 1979.
A first meeting took place in 1992, the time of a show. Between 1997 and 2005, the group did some touring without releasing an album of new material, merely to record two new studio pieces placed at the end of the live album Reunion, which was launched in 1998.
Between 2006 and 2010, the group met with singer Ronnie James Dio, who replaced Osbourne in 1980 under the name Heaven & Hell. The meeting ended when Dio succumbed to cancer in May 2010.
Black Sabbath is often cited along with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin as the inventor of the heavy metal genre.
